Life in A New Era

  💗😆 I absolutely so excited for summer! Though the weather here in Idaho is a little dreary I can't wait to say "adieu" to this school year. I have loved homeschooling but I am ready to go back to school next year at KMS. I have really missed the social end of it all and I hope to have a bit more of a schedule next year. Tomorrow is my last day of school and tonight i have an end of school year party! Yay Anyways, enough talk of school.  Hello! Yesterday I had the awesome opportunity to do service in the Boise Temple! It was such a beautiful and peaceful experience to be back at the temple. After we went to the temple we got to go get smoothies at Tree City Smoothies. I got a delicious orange smoothie that I enjoyed very thoroughly. After the Temple and Smoothies I had to go to an Orthodontist appointment. So fun... My mouth STILL hurts. Anyways, I got to babysit today! :D It was great! I am so excited for summer!   Hello everyone! I hope that ya'll had a great weekend. Friday Night I got to  go to join  my brother at his 5th grade open house at KMS. He is currently debating if he would like to go back  or not. I am for sure going back.  We saw tons of friends and it was great meeting new people. Later that evening my church was having a get together and barbecue. We had good food, ate lots of candy, and got to socialize with people that we hadn't seen in a while. Yesterday on Sunday after church I got to participate in a choir for a seminary graduation. It sounded so beautiful especially for our first rehearsal. We sang the song "A Great Work" by Nik Day. Afterwards, we had fresh cookies hot from the oven. I am so thankful for music and the happiness it brings to my life.

On Tuesday, I had the great opportunity to serve an elderly man in my ward at church. He's a widower and lives alone except for his grand daughter. They had been struggling lately with keeping their house clean, and my mom and I thought it would be nice if we went over and helped him mop his floors. My mom moped his floors while chatted with him  and it was really awesome to talk with him.  He was watching a western tv show and we discussed favorite movies and such. He had two cute dogs, one was an 8 year chihuahua that loved to have its head massaged. It was nice talking with him, and I could tell he really appreciated it. I am so thankful for the opportunities to serve others that I get to have!

Happy Mother's Day! I am so thankful for my mama and all that she does for me and my family :) This mother's day was so much fun! At church, and a few other families sang a song for Mother's Day! It was so precious.  Funny story, at church they were giving cheesecake to all of the women, and they were also allowing the young women to have some (the teenagers aka future moms) So, I got cake and I was very happy.  My brothers on the other hand, not so much. They were begging me an my mom to share some, and we did but they were still acting picked on.  When we got home we gave some gifts we had bought and made and gave them to her. Another funny story, the day before when we purchasing gifts my little brothers bought balloons at Dollar Tree. Afterwards we went to Costco. When we were loading the groceries into my dad's truck the balloons flew out! 😆 I felt bad for them, but at the same time we all got a laugh out of it after.  Hello everyone! Monday I had a piano recital! As you know, me and I brother love two play piano, and actually we just got a real piano (that isn't a keyboard) to play on now! It has pedals and everything! I am so happy about it! Anyways, I had a piano recital Monday evening at Dunkley music! It was so much fun to play on a fancy piano (Steinways and Sons Grand Piano) and just play my heart out. For my performance I played, Color's of the Wind-From Pocahontas, and Fight Song-Rachel Platten. It was so much fun! There were so my great performances and it was so much fun!!! Afterwards, we went to Costco and got Ice cream sundaes, and picked up my prescription sun glasses! :) I am so happy to be playing piano and I hope to continue as long  as I can!🎵   

😁 Hello everyone! I had a wonderful time down in Utah for the weekend. I got to celebrate my Grandma Workman's birthday in Cedar Hill's (Around Lehi, Utah) and I was able to see so much family! We arrived in Ogden, Utah Friday afternoon, and we dropped my dog off at my Aunt Lori's house. We got to hang out with some of my cousin's on the Wheeler side. We chilled together for a few hours and then we headed to my Grandma Wheeler's house to spend the night! For dinner we had homemade mac and cheese, marshmallow salad, and biscuits! We stayed up late and had a family talent show! On Saturday we got up early ready to start the day and get on the road to Grandma Workman's birthday party! I ate a muffin then my family and I got in the car ready to go to Lehi. We  drove for about an hour and a half and arrived at about 12:30pm. We ate a delicious lunch of crossaint sandwiches, baked beans, fruit, veggies, chips, etc. We socialized with so many people we hadn't seen...
